I finally completed my first photoshoot! Some good friends of mine are getting married and asked if I’d like to do their engagement shots. I agreed and told them I would do it for free since I’ve never done it and didn’t know how things would turn out.
So this last Saturday we went out to a local park and took pictures. It was a little awkward at first since I’ve never had to pose people before, but once we got going they relaxed a bit and even helped with some shot ideas.

They love them, and apparently so do their friends and family, which is the most important part. I’m largely happy with them but can see a few things I need to do differently (namely take the shots a little wider and crop as needed). Huge thanks go out to Linsley and Justin for being patient with me, and also to my friend Ryan who came out with us and held a reflector in several of the shots.
